RANTOUL -- A man is arrested after police say he caused a child to break his leg. 21-year old Dustin Riddle was in court Friday.

Police say Wednesday, Riddle was home with a 2-year old and his 1-year old brother while their mother was at work. A police report taken after the incident says Riddle heard the two fighting.

When he checked on them, police say he picked up the 2-year old by his hips, spun him around and forced him to the ground. Right after, the child yelled. The report says the child's thigh bone was broken.
