INDIANAPOLIS - The invitations have been handed for this year's NFL Combine, and four Illini are getting the call.  In fact, Illinois is sending the second-most players to the combine of any Big Ten team.

The four Illini who will head to Indianapolis are defensive end Michael Buchanan, defensive back Terry Hawthorne, offensive lineman Hugh Thornton, and defensive tackle Akeem Spence.

The combine is an invitation-only event, and it allows these players to work out in front of scouts from every NFL team.  The combine runs February 20th-26th in Indianapolis.
