Rantoul murder sentence

RANTOUL -- A man will spend more than 50 years in prison for murder. Steven Monroe was convicted of killing Marcus Brown in 2011.

Two other men were involved in the crime. Monroe's attorney argued for a shorter sentence.

A judge sentenced him to 58 years in prison. 
He'll get credit for nearly two years served.
