MAHOMET -- People in Champaign County are warmer because of some Kids to Know. These are photos of a coat drive scavenger hunt.

About 50-kids from four different church youth groups spent time walking around town. Grace Church, Mahomet Christian, First Baptist and Community Free were all represented.

They collected 176 coats and more than 30 blankets plus lots of gloves and scarves. They also collected about 500-pounds of food.

The donations will got to Mahomet Helping Hands and Empty Tomb in Champaign. It's the second year the kids have done a drive like this. They collected twice what they gathered last year.
