UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS -- Students are trying to brainstorm ideas for a new mascot. People have been submitting ideas and voting on a school Facebook page. Voting wrapped up over the weekend.

Student government leaders say they plan to announce the decision Friday. The winner of the vote gets a $200 prize, but that doesn't necessarily mean it will automatically be the new mascot.
