UI students win big at "Hack-a-thon"

UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS -- UI students made a big splash in a computing competition this weekend. Two students won first prize in the 36-hour Hack-a-thon in Michigan.

Ali and Ehsan Razfar were nicknamed "bro-grammers" since they're brothers. They created an application called "Speakeasy."

It helps people who speak different languages communicate with each other. They do that by using voice-to-text technology.

UI students Rishabh Marya and Bhuwan Khattar won third place.
