SANGAMON COUNTY -- A state board recommends punishment for a former Sangamon County judge. Associate Judge Robert Hall dismissed a traffic ticket for the daughter of a fellow judge in 2010.

Hall found himself in trouble for lying on the actual ruling form. Now, an attorney disciplinary board says he should have his law license suspended for six months. Hall retired early because of the incident.
