The Big Game spurs big sales!

CHAMPAIGN -- It wouldn't be called "the big game" if not for those big screens. This is the time of year when they're known to sell.

The Consumer Electronics Association says nearly a quarter of all HDTV's are bought specifically to watch the Super Bowl. Workers at H.H. Gregg say they've been busy all week.

That has the police reminding customers to be careful. They say, if you buy a TV, don't put the empty box on the curb. That will tip off criminals that you made an expensive purchase. Instead, save the box or cut it up into pieces before throwing it away.
