DECATUR -- Heart Awareness Month kicked off Friday. You might have seen a lot of people wearing red. But one hospital is getting the word out in a different way; through everyone's stomach.

Saturday kicks off the Hearts Around the World Event. Each year, Decatur Memorial Hospital features food from a different region. This year is South America.

Food services spent the day preparing to bring a little bit of Brazilian culture to Central Illinois. The event kicks off Saturday at 6 pm in the DMH cafeteria.
