Jump in gas prices

CHAMPAIGN -- Gas prices usually go up as we head into spring, but they may be getting an early start this year. Prices at the pump rose $.13 the past two weeks.

The average around the country is $3.42 per gallon. We found it for $3.65 in Champaign.

Experts say the spike is because of rising crude oil prices and lower supplies of gasoline. To find the lowest prices in your area, click on Gas Tracker.
