CHAMPAIGN -- A new motion has been filed against Mayor Don Gerard by his ex-girlfriend, Laura Huth. Huth's lawyer said he's damaging her reputation, but the mayor denies that.

Someone close to the mayor said he hasn't been in contact with Huth since July and they're not sure where the allegation comes from. Huth's lawyer said they have new information and evidence the mayor is trying to destroy her business and her reputation, including evidence Gerard has been in contact with third parties discussing Huth with them.

Sources close to Gerard deny that's happened as well as the allegation Huth made in October. Huth said he was stalking her. A hearing is set for the pair to meet in court next month on February 14.

You gotta love those ex's. I've known a few and with what they say I'm surprised I'm not locked up somewhere right now.
