Fire destroys home

DANVILLE -- Fire destroyed a home in the 200-block of South Forrest Street. It happened just after 5 am Wednesday.

Investigators say one man was home at the time, but he made it out safely. Officials are not sure what caused the blaze but say it started in the bedroom.
