RANTOUL -- A teen pleaded not guilty to sexually assaulting a 15-year old boy. 18-year old Gage Peters was arrested on his way to school Tuesday. Both attend Rantoul High School.

Peters and the freshman had reportedly been dating a few months. Police say the 15-year old told him he wanted to break up with Peters who then threatened to tell everyone the boy was gay.

Police say Peters and the teen had sex during their relationship. Peters appeared in court Wednesday. He's charged with two counts of criminal sexual abuse and two counts of criminal sexual assault.

He's due back in court in March. He's being held in the Champaign County Jail with a bond of $150,000.
