Miami (FL) DE commits to Illini

MIAMI, Fla. - Tim Beckman landed a big verbal commitment Wednesday from Miami, FL (Norland) defensive end Paul James III. James is a four-star recruit, according to ESPN. He is ranked as the 15th-best defensive end in the country.
James also had offers from Alabama, Florida State, and Tennessee. He does to the same high school as current Illini defensive lineman Teko Powell.
James can sign as early as next Wednesday.
