One hurt in shots fired incident

DECATUR -- Police are investigating a report of shots fired. It happened about 1 pm in the 500-block of South Oakland Tuesday. Authorities arrived at the scene and found evidence of gunfire, but no victims or suspects.

A short time later, a man reportedly went to the hospital suffering a minor gunshot wound. He told police he'd been in the area of 500-South Oakland when he was hurt.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers. You can remain anonymous and may earn a cash reward.
