Loss of funding forces school closure

CLARK COUNTY -- An area school is closing. The Casey-Westfield school board voted to close Roosevelt Junior High School for the 2013-2014 school year. The district is trying to save money.
It expects to lose $800,000 in state funds. The school could reopen if the funding situation changes. Seventh- and eighth-graders will be moved to the high school a few blocks away.
