SPRINGFIELD -- The state's Republican party lost big in November's election, but that means a bigger paycheck for some. All of Illinois' Republican senators will make extra money this term because they hold only 19 seats.

Committee chairs and leaders will receive stipends for their extra work. The money will range from $10,000 - $20,000 on top of their base salaries.
