Coach accused of sexual relationship with teen

URBANA -- A softball coach is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a teenager. 30-year old Candace Welch now faces charges including criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
The Assistant State's Attorney says Welch allegedly initiated her relationship with the then-15-year old girl in July. The contact reportedly continued through the fall of 2012.
A neighbor reported the alleged contact to police in December. Welch is being held on $250,000 bond.
