TUSCOLA -- A Douglas County man is accused of threatening to shoot and kill students at an elementary school. Timothy Little was arrested Sunday after his wife called police.

Authorities found 50 guns including rifles and pistols, at his home when they searched it Monday. That and tens of thousands of rounds of ammunition. But, he wasn't able to use any of it after his wife turned him in.

Little's stepson goes to North Ward Elementary School. Little told his wife he planned to go there Monday and that she would be to blame for all the children he killed. As he told her that, investigators say he was piling his guns on the dining room table.

The state's attorney says investigators took the threat very seriously, but wants to reassure parents there was never any immediate danger to the school. District leaders contacted parents this week to let them know everyone was okay.

Little is being held with no chance of getting out on bond. The state's attorney says that's because of the seriousness of his alleged threat. Little has a FOID card, so he didn't have any felonies or any kind of criminal record.

He had 2800 cash in his pocket and another 500,000$ in weapons at his house and has the nerve to ask for and receive the public defender? I think a liquidation sale is in order to protect the fine taxpayers in Douglas County.
