SPRINGFIELD -- Lawmakers will be back at the capitol this week to officially kick off their new session. The State House returns Wednesday. The Senate returns next week.

They'll try to solve the state's biggest problem of nearly $100 billion pension debt. Lawmakers are also expected to work on a concealed-carry law and could even take up same-sex marriage.
