SPRINGFIELD -- Your power bill could be going up. Ameren filed for a $50 million rate hike Friday. It comes a little more than a year after a $32 million natural gas rate increase.

The Illinois Commerce Commission will review it, but could take up to a year to decide. A typical customer would pay $2.87 more per month.
