URBANA -- A family escapes a mobile home fire. It happened just after noon Friday in the 1800-block of Liberty Avenue.

Investigators say a teen heard the smoke alarm go off and saw flames in the bedroom. She then got her mother, her 16-month old daughter and pet dog outside.

Crews say the home is a total loss. No word yet on a cause.
