3 towns to benefit from historic money

SPRINGFIELD -- Some towns in Illinois are getting money to help keep their histories alive. Three of them are in Central Illinois.

Springfield and Jacksonville will use the money to revise their lists of sites in the National Register of Historic Places. Marshall plans to spend the money on a new tour guidebook of the city.
