3 face drug charges

Updated: January 25, 2013
SPRINGFIELD -- Three men face multiple drug charges after authorities recovered a package of marijuana weighing about six pounds. Various law enforcement agencies served a search warrant Wednesday at a home in the 2200-block of East Adams.

Brandon Brown was arrested. He faces federal charges since U.S. Postal Inspectors were involved in the operation.

Further investigation led police to believe some of the confiscated evidence was destined to be sold at a home in the 1400-block of East Ash. A search warrant was served there and brothers, Anthony and James McGrone, were arrested after marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found.
