Back in the Kitchen with Sebastian

Sebastian's French Toast Casserole 
1 1/2 sticks of butter
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon 
1 loaf texas toast
6 eggs 
1 cup milk 
Maple syrup
Use 13x9 baking dish.  Melt butter and add brown sugar and cinnamon to make a paste.  Spread over bottom of the baking dish. 
Remove crusts from bread.  Layer slices of bread in the dish, filling in sides and ends with smaller pieces.
Beat eggs and milk together.  Pour over the top of the bread.  Bake 25-30 minutes at 350. Drizzle maple syrup on top and place under broiler until brown and bubbly.
