SPRINGFIELD -- Time is running out for state lawmakers to legalize concealed-carry, so our Lieutenant Governor hopes to speed things up. Sheila Simon is starting a working group of lawmakers to discuss firearms.

She says the group will focus on passing a concealed-carry law. Her goal is to bridge the gap between the two political parties. Illinois has until May to pass a law.
