Man pleads not guilty to shooting officer

DECATUR -- A man accused of shooting a police officer pleaded not guilty Wednesday. Dennis Kendall faces multiple drug charges as well as attempted murder.

Police say he shot the officer in the leg while the officer was serving a warrant for drugs at Kendall's home. The officer is okay. Kendall is being held on $2 million bond.
