TUSCOLA -- One organization is helping make prom night magical for teens. It held a prom dress drive at the Tanger Outlet Mall.

People pay $5 for each dress they want to donate. Then, they get to decide how much it should sell for, and if it does, they get that money back.

The $5 goes to a Moultrie-Douglas County Pageant Scholarship Fund. It's an easy way for shoppers get an inexpensive dress.

"With the economy the way it is, I know so many girls want to have that special, perfect dress but can't afford it. So, I hope by coming out here they find a dress they love," says organizer Sandy Hoke.

The pageant scholarship is usually $1,000 dollars but may be more because of the drive. Hoke has already collected 173 dresses with one more day to go.
