Officers honored for helping during apartment fire

CHAMPAIGN -- Three police officers are being honored for helping save lives. Officers Brad Krauel, Bill Killin and Dave McLearin got Letters of Commendation.

The trio responded to an apartment fire last week on High View Court. The department says they helped people escape from first and second floors. Then they helped firefighters rescue people from balconies.
