CHAMPAIGN -- With Martin Luther King, Jr., Day just around the corner, we get a local reminder to be an agent of change. Ernest Green visited Champaign this week. He was a member of the "Little Rock 9."

The group of students challenged Arkansas' segregated schools in the 1950's. He was at the Hilton Garden Inn to honor guests at the 12th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr., Countywide Celebration. Green challenges others to stand against traditional rules.

He says, "We all have what I call a Little Rock Central High School moment. Today, I want to try to make the message to young people that they have to be prepared for it, recognize it and be able to take advantage of it."

He also gave honors to two local residents and an organization that embodies Martin Luther King, Jr.'s, characteristics.
