TOLONO -- Teens are collecting denim for a good cause. Students at Unity Junior High are taking part in the Teens for Jeans drive. It's a nationwide program asking for gently used jean donations.

So far they've collected more than 400 pairs. They will be given to homeless teens in Central Illinois.

The jeans drive is also a competition. If Unity can collect the most pairs, the school will win a $10,000 grant, a special hoodie and a pizza party.

Students are accepting collections at the school until February 8 at the office or library.
