Three people arrested in connection with shooting

DECATUR -- Three more people connected to a shooting have been arrested. Police say Brittany Kreher, 21, Julianne Salmons, 42, and Phillip Jordan, 38, are all connected to the gun used in the crime.

All three face charges including illegal transfer of a firearm. Police say the gun ended up with Dennis Kendall. He's accused of shooting an officer through the front door of a home on the 900 block of N. Taylor Drive.

Police were there to search for drugs. The officer was hit in the leg. The trio is due back in court next month.
