CHAMPAIGN -- The holdays are over, but the spirit is still alive.

Developmental Services Center lit their tree of hope today. Each bulb represents $50.00 that's been donated.

The money will help DSC provide services to families. today,the tree was lit to honor people the community that have given to the cause.

"We all think of the giving season to end at the end of December. The fact is, the need continues. We make our campaign go from November to January 31st. It bridges that."

So far- DSC has raised $123,000. Their goal still seven thousand dollars short of their goal.
