Man charged following school threat

Updated: January 18, 2013
URBANA -- A man who police say threatened to shoot up a school has been charged with making a terrorist threat.

The only other time the Champaign County State's Attorney filed this Class X felony charge was in 2010.

34-year-old Uriah Fosdick was arrested at his St. Jospeh home Monday.

Deputies and the school district say they'd been dealing with his complaints of teens honking and playing music too loud. They worked for months to resolve the issues.

Fosdick had prior convictions in Vermilion County for burglary and theft.

He's being held on $750,000 bond.
