SPRINGFIELD -- Gun control is set to be one of the biggest issues at the Capitol this spring and lawmakers already have a new conceal carry plan in the works.

The Supreme court ruled that Illinois has to pass a law allowing concealed carry by May.  The law would allow people to carry guns, but would require a permit.  The state police and local sheriff's departments will regulate the permits and gun owners will have to train before carrying their weapons.  Some lawmakers are eager to pass this bill.
