Illini basketball player visits elementary school
Updated: January 11, 2013
CHAMPAIGN -- This Sunday is the annual Pack the Hall game for University of Illinois Women's basketball game. The players wanted to give students at Westview Elementary a little preview.
Junior Guard Cassie Dumoulin stopped by the school today. She and the first graders took advantage of the nice weather. They spent recess outside shooting free throws.
"My favorite part is shooting the basketball up and giving everyone a turn," said first grader Ruth Duma.
The Illini will be playing Michigan State. Doors open at 2 p.m., and families will get a chance to get autographs.
