DECATUR -- More than $20,000 is going toward revitilizing Decatur.

Three bridges are going to get fixed up. All of them are along mound road over spring creek.

The bridges are smaller and are mostly used by runners. But some say that money should be used elsewhere.

"I think the repairs are bridges are good if they need to be done, but I also think the roads need to be repaired here in Decatur," Julie Shae said.

the thousands of dollars used for the bridges will come from the motor fuel tax.
