Home sales up in 2012

CHAMPAIGN -- The housing market saw a big boost last year in Champaign County. The latest numbers show home sales were up 21% from 2011.

More than 2,300 homes were sold in the county. The value of those homes was up 27% from the year before. The average home on the market cost $140,000.
