Police chief on leave

Updated: January 9, 2013
BUFFALO-- A police chief is on paid leave and his future with the department is uncertain.

William Hill is the chief of Buffalo and Mechanicsburg's combined Police Department. He's been on leave since the start of the new year.

The department won't say why Hill is on leave, only that the reason is not sexual or financial in nature.

Members of the Police Advisory Board will meet tonight at 7 P.M. in the Buffalo Village Hall. They could make a decision on Hill's future with the department. That decision would likely be made in executive session. That would be closed to the public.
