Licenses for illegals measure approved

Updated: January 8, 2013
Illinois is one signature away from allowing illegal immigrants to have driver's licenses.
The Illinois House approved the measure today.
Governor Pat Quinn says he plans to sign it.
Illinois' has around 250,000 illegal immigrants who are of driving age.
Supporters say it's an important measure for anyone who drives in Illinois because licensing immagrants will improve their safety behind the wheel.
It's also expected to save Illinois motorists $46 million a year in insurance premiums by making sure every driver is properly insured.

Really? I liked the part in the broadcast where they interviewed 2 illegal immigrants, neither of which spoke English, and one said something about worrying about becoming a criminal. Um, you're here illegally, you already are a criminal. I'm not against immigration. Just do it legally.

This is ridiculous we are missing the main point of the whole title to the story "ILLEGAL" immigrants, sounds like they should be arrested, this is a form of terrorism and goes to show how well a job homeland security is doing. Shame on the lawmakers our forefathers are turning in their graves as well as all the soldiers who gave their lives for this country. So no they shouldnt get a license to drive they dont even have a license to be in this country
