CHAMPAIGN -- Police are looking for a man accused of stealing liquor. It happened three times in early to mid-September at two different stores.

Police say the man was caught on camera. His picture is to the left. Investigators say he stole at least four bottles of liquor from the CVS on South Mattis worth about $150. Then an hour later, he's accused of taking two more bottles from Meijer on N. Prospect. Police say 10 days later, he hit the same CVS again.

The suspect is at least six-feet tall and wore glasses. Investigators say he would stuff the bottles in the black backpack he always had with him.

If you know the man, call Champaign County Crime Stoppers at 373-TIPS. Or text: CCTip plus your information and send it to CRIMES. Or log on. You could get a cash reward.
