Fire damages town hall

LOVINGTON-- Firefighters battled a small fire that damaged the outside of the town hall. They were called to the scene around 1:30 P.M.

The fire started in a cigarette disposal can. It set a nearby trash can on fire.

Two people were inside at the time. They both got out safely.

Firefighters say an exterior wall was damaged. Damage is estimated at about $3,000.
