Sticking to New Year's resolutions

CHAMPAIGN -- One of the most popular New Year's resolutions is to get in shape.

Trainers at the refinery in Champaign said the first step is to just start exercising. They said there are a lot of options to find something you like to do. That will make you more likely to keep doing it through the year. And it helps to have a friend or family member as a workout buddy.

They said if you miss a day, don't dwell on it. Just keep going. Another suggestion is to make a schedule and plan when you're going to work out.
