URBANA -- A man was arrested for DUI after driving into a ditch early New Year's Day.

Investigators said Juan Reyes-Hernandez was driving east on I-74 over Cunningham Avenue just after 1 AM. They said he hit the concrete median on the left, then crossed all lanes of traffic and hit the right wall. Authorities said he drove into a ditch. They said Reyes-Hernandez told police he may have fallen asleep. He was treated and released at a hospital and then arrested for charges of driving under the influence of alcohol.
