RIVERTON -- Riverton Elementary School is using a unique teaching philosophy to get kids ready for college.

Kids are not supposed to yell in school. But Riverton Elementary does not have ordinary classrooms. Each day they're filled with color, cheer and excitement. That's because each class is a college campus.

From the assignments to the decorations, the halls buzz with university pride. It's a teaching technique that uses long term goals to get results in the classrooms. The teachers are masters of academic disguise, masking real lessons with fun.

The most important lesson taught at Riverton Elementary though, is that any student from any walk of life can go to college.
