CHAMPAIGN -- With most everything closed, some families spent time starting at a silver screen. Several shows at the Beverly Theater in Champaign were sold out on Christmas.

Moviegoers said there were many good movies to choose from. Some said going to movies is a Christmas tradition for their family so they don't mind waiting to see the ones they want. Some of the popular choices among people we talked with include "Parental Guidance" and "Les Miserables."
