CHAMPAIGN -- Saturday is one of the busiest shipping days of the year. FedEx representatives said they ship more than 280 million packages and pieces of mail between Thanksgiving and Christmas day.

People came to one location in Champaign to print last-minute pictures and cards. Others boxed up presents. But even during the late rush, some said they've still got a few things to check off their list before Christmas. Most post offices around the country will close early on Christmas Eve. But they said regular mail delivery won't be affected.
