Boys and Girls club gets new leader

The Danville Boys and Girls Club has a new leader.
Rob Gifford is now the executive director.
The club gave him a reception this evening but he's been training for the last week.
Gifford says one big goal of his is to get more funding even though the club isn't struggling it could always be better.
"A lot of that is relationship building and a lot is using your board and them helping you also so it will be very important for the board to help on that side and hopefully other people will look at helping us in different ways," says Gifford.
Gifford says he was in real estate and is a lifelong Danville resident.
He's replacing Rickey Williams.
