One dead in Champaign shooting

CHAMPAIGN -- Champaign families are in shock after a shooting kills one and puts another in the hosptial.

It happened in the 200 block of Roper Street. Neighbors say one man was shot in the leg; the other was shot in the stomach. Both were taken to the hospital, 33-year-old Bobby White of Champaign died earlier Tuesday afternoon.

Champaign Police are investigating the shooting. They say two suspects ran into the home. They fired shots before taking off. Officers have not made any arrests. CPD is still talking to witnesses and processing evidence.
