Unit 4 in search of new board members

CHAMPAIGN -- The Unit 4 School District is searching for new board members.

Sue Grey announced yesterday -- she's leaving. Grey recently became CEO of Champaign County United Way. She said taht'st he reason for her resignation. Just last week, Tom Lockman also stepped down. The board hopes to fill the two spots by mid-January.

"A lot of exciting thing," said Unit 4 Board President Stig Lanesskog. "We want to make sure we keep up this momentum even through this transition."

Voters will pick new, permenant board members this April. If you want to run in the general election, the deadline for turning in your papoerwork is December 26th.
